Royal Opening

Today Prince’s William & Harry were at Tedworth House The visit marked the formal opening of the fantastic rehabilitation support centre centre that i’ve blogged about visiting before. During the visit Prince William called for continued support for our Armed Forces and praised the fantastic work of Help for Heroes before talking about the prospect of fatherhood.
Prince Harry then marked the start of the Hero Ride by waving a Help for Heroes flag to start off three of the riders who will completing teh ride on hand bikes including Staff Sgt Steve Arnold ( @AmphEngr ) symbolising the start of the ride next Tuesday when 300 or so of us will head off from Paris on the Big Battlefield Bike Ride arriving in London on 2nd June along with hundreds of others who will have ridden from all over the country.
You can see a bit more about today here on the Help for Heroes Website, or by following @HelpforHeroes on Twitter. Keep following my blog for my last week’s preparation and how we get on on the ride and hopefully we might see some of you when we arrive back in London on 2nd June. It should be quite a sight and if you are thinking about coming along check out this information.
Dont forget if you want to help continue the great work of Help for Heroes at Tedworth House and the other projects it supports you can do here

Thanks for reading
Simon
